The photo was taken at the PetCo store at 3046 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL. Pet stores are great places to go to get some interesting animal photos. The animals cannot run away which is fine because they are so used to seeing people that they don’t really have any desire to flee.
The photo was taken with the camera on my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 smartphone. I used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast, saturation and clarity.

I had the opportunity to meet a similar animal. My friend has it as a pet. He allowed me very close to myself.
These were a couple of babies at a pet store but my wife and I have a much larger one.
I think these are my favorites of the lizards. They are so smart and fun to watch!
These weren’t ours but we got a rescue BD a few months ago. You are absolutely right. They have so much personality.
