Sheep crossing the road

First, I just want to apologize for the very poor quality of the photo, but I just wanted to share these sheep crossing the road. This is not some small rural road, but a national road between major cities. It was interesting to see shepherds herding their sheep from one part of the hills to their home up on top of a hill. Funny thing is that they usually have a donkey leading the way, the sheep and then the herding dogs who bark and herd the sheep in the right direction. The shepherd is usually just walking along slowly, smoking a cigarette. Thankfully cars stop on time and nobody gets hurt.

What do you think?

  1. I like this. It’s nice to see sheep. That was the case in Serbia. Now, unfortunately, less and less. Cheese and sheep milk are very healthy. Today fewer people are involved in cattle breeding. We have to import meat, although Serbia has ideal conditions for cattle breeding.
