For the first time in the history of India, a group of ‘dogs’ has been retired with the highest military honor.
The Central Security Industrial Security Force (CISF), which provides security to industries, markets and government enterprises in India, honorably retired 7 dogs on November 19 on their 8 years of service. The CISF organized a special ceremony for the retirement of the group of dogs and gave them farewell as a soldier.
Born as a dog, retired as a soldier…

A wonderful event and a nice thank you to the dogs. This happens very rarely.

As a human being, I am proud to see the ceremony, but somehow the retired dogs are feeling.
I love this. It is about time dogs get the respect they deserve for the work they do.
Well said and I agree with you
I have a friend that trains dogs that are meant to work in airports to sniff for drugs. He (my friend) works very hard. BUt he also says the dogs work harder.
