Raymond Deidesheimer and his girlfriend were walking down on a street in the Bronx New York on Wednesday when they noticed a cat carrier that was left beside the trash that was going to be picked up the sanitation department in a few minutes.
Raymond started to film the events when he was shocked to see a cat inside the cat carrier who was left by a heartless person who decided that the cat deserved to most likely crushed to death by the garbage compactor even though the legend of cats is that they have nine lives.
Raymond had pity for the cat that was placed inside his cat carrier to be crushed by the trash compactor. Raymond then decided to pick up the cat and take to his home.
Since Raymond did not know who was the previous owner of the cat, he called “Little Wanderers NYC” which is animal rights group that finds homes for homeless cats to be adopted by loving families.
The Little Wanderers group had Raymond take the cat that had no name to be vetted and operated on so that the cat could not make any more kittens. As well as to check if the cat was healthy to be adopted.
Raymond was given the good news that the cat was healthy enough to be adopted by Raymond and his girlfriend so the cat could spend the rest of his life with them.
The cat was named Earnest Raymond who is named for Raymond who did his great deed to save a cat from being crushed to death inside of a trash compactor.
How about giving Raymond Deidesheimer some three cheers for being a savior of a cat who was left inside a cat carrier alongside some trash.
Whoever did this to the cat should be ashamed of themselves. Cats are people too.
Congrats Raymond. You have the humanity in you. If someone is tired of cats it’s better to take it to an animal shelter than leave it to face a cruel death. They too have their rights.
You are correct since animals have their uses in the world.
That is true since clean water can clean out the food in out bodies.
it is one thing to abandon a cat; they can fend for themselves… caging it and then abandoning it? that’s just sadistic
I agree with you since there are horror stories of infants being left in fire stations or hospitals.
an infant can’t care for itself, cats can. there is no reason to leave it in a cage where it will dehydrate
You are correct since both humans and animals need food and water to stay alive.
just about everything living needs water to stay that way
You are right, they are little people that depend on us for their survival. Great story!
Even though most cats do not like to be near me, I cannot stand anyone who tries to harm a cat by having them left to die in a garbage pile.
It is hard to believe someone could do such a terrible thing, but thank God there are good people on this earth to help save abused animals.
It breaks me heart that whoever was responsible for placing that cat on the garbage pile never thought of taking the cat to a local animal shelter instead.
My God … it’s terrible … how can anyone make animals?
That is what I would like to know since I am wondering what type of person would try to harm a cat like that. That person who did that to the cat should have the cat to an animal shelter.
Oh my God, the horror. Poor cat but also very lucky cat to have been noticed by compassionate pedestrians. Three cheers for you Earnest Raymond for being rescued and for being able to give your new friends a lifetime of purring and love. Yes definitely, cats are people too.
It breaks my heart that people do not have respect for cats by getting rid of them by placing them in pet carriers so they can face death by a trash compactor.
