There are some very beautiful lakes in the vicinity of my place. One of these is Lake Zbilje. I visit it often because there are huge walking trails along the lake.
Zbilje lake is an artificial lake which was formed by the impoundment of the river Sava.
Zbilje lake soon became a popular excursion point. The lake is also an important living space for many bird species.
On the left bank of the lake there is a very beautiful camp of Dragocajna.
The small village Zbilje, which is called the lake, has developed well for excursion tourism.
Renting boats and canoes is provided in Zbilje.
Fishermen can also buy fishing tickets and go hunting.
At the lake there are a few cafes where you can eat something or sunbathe on one of the deck chairs.
There is a very nice playground for children, and for adults there is a volleyball court and a picnic area.
Around the lake, the path connects the surrounding places.
What a fun area to spend time!
