I can see it is a cute little item to have by the kitchen sink. However, I think that when I grabbed it with my wet hand to use it, I would end up with a wet sticky apron on my soap bottle. I could be wrong. I am hoping that someone here has used one and can tell me about their experience.
I think it would be a fabulous addition to a neighbor gift who was just moving in, if it doesn’t just create a sticky mess. I don’t love to craft a useless item.

I am only allowed to cook in the kitchen. I am forbidden from adding any decorative objects in the upstairs of the house, without prior (my wife says written) permission.
Maybe it’s meant to make the bottle less slippery, but it might be annoying to keep it fresh and clean all the time. I prefer a bottle with pump on top, I also waste less product this way.
Just took a look online. They sell them for the bottles. There was even a long flowery and frilly one. I have no idea how they just don’t get messed up.
Seems like it is just for looks. I have seen them.
Using a plastic material might be easier to clean ?

perhaps the whole idea is to wipe your hands on that apron to avoid a slippery bottle …
I think it would absorb the water of a wet hand and make the bottle less slippery???
