Taxila museum is located at taxila panjab Pakistan
The museum is home to a significant and comprehensive collection of Gandhara art
Most objects in the collection were excavated from the ruins of ancient
Construction of taxila museum started in 1918.
The government of Pakistan constructed the northern gallery in 1998.
Mainly tha display consist of object period 600 B.C to 500 A.D
Buddhist , Hindu and Jain religion are well represented through these object discovered from three ancient cities and more than two dozen Buddhist stupas and Greek temples in region
