How to open a ginger and lemon beer bottle when I can’t grip the lid and bottle?

So much for cheap ginger beer!

Well, I looked up on the internet and I really had to look hard because it only spoke about Bundenburg ginger beer.

Here we go.

#1 1st step

Find a nice big fat rubber band

2. Twist rubber band as tight as it can go with the lid

3. Using a towel twist open the lid. A tea towel will do.

Worked for me.

You reminded me of a public speaking trainee in my class who showed those tips to class. He uses a bottle of balm for an example.

Cool, never thought of this but I do have rubber thingies to use when I can’t get jars to open, so it is the same concept. Thanks for this!

  Thanks Carol, I usually turn jars upside down and pour boiling water over them and then open them. Usually works but couldn’t do that to the ginger ale bottle.
