My trip to Swaffham in Norfolk, England

I went to visit my brother, sister-in-law and nephew over the weekend.  I had a chance to have a walk around the town before my brother picked me up, so I decided to take in some of the sites of the town.  Swaffham is a market town in the heart of Norfolk in England.  This was my first time I had visited Swaffham.  The first place I visited was the Church.  I was lucky I went on a Saturday as there was tea and cake being served, so of course I got myself a slice of coffee cake and a mug of coffee.  I also had a look round the market, although I didn’t buy anything.

Across the square I also noticed a Swaffham Museum, and it was free entry!  So I struck lucky again, I thought!  The museum is a social museum telling you all about the history of the town.  This, I found, every interesting.  The picture of the ducks I found in the grounds of the Church.  They were all enjoying the sunshine, which I found very cute!

Anyway, I had a lovely day with my family.  My brother cooked us a BBQ which I really enjoyed.  I left for home about 3pm as it took me 2 hours to get the bus home.  I will definitely visit them again in the near future.  He has recently bought a house and it’s very nice.  The views from his back garden of the fields are lovely.
