The trees in the picture happen to be in Montana and that makes it all better for me. So this is a simple poll to see if anyone recognizes the names of the trees. It is not about matching photos or anything. Simply let us know if you have heard of the tree. A simple yes and no and you are on your way. (The kids in the 3rd grade call took this one today when I went. How do you think we will stand up against them?)

You love trees for sure. You have said it with pictures louder than words.
One of them is not a real tree, do you know which one?
If you are talking about the image, it is difficult to tell. I am taking a guess. Is that the one on the meadow behind the pond (Grand Fir I think), standing alone?
A couple I had never heard of, but a few I had. Growing up with a biologist I got to review many tree pictures!
Well there was a trick, one of them is not a real tree!
🙂 more than I can handle now, to know you faked a tree 🙂
Ok, that is hilarious!!!
Lovely post, we have the weeping willow. We have Norfolk pine trees and pine trees. We have several kinds of evergreen trees.
Thanks it was fun to find trees and toss in a fake!
I like trees a lot since they provide shade from the hot sun.
That is a great reason to celebrate trees.
That is true since trees have great benefits for all of us.
Nice post. I love trees too! In fact, I often hug them, especially when I am feeling stressed! They have a very calming and reviving effect.
Oh, I tried hugging a tree once. My Mom was less than pleased with the sap!
Hahaha! Yes, I do often end up covered in bark and lichen, it must be said! 😀
