My husband has been drinking coffee everyday, usually he just bought the instant coffee packets or coffee powder, but we never had a coffee maker at home. A few days ago, I saw a coffee maker and a few boxes of coffee capsules. I was quite surprised about it, and my husband told me he actually rented the coffee maker. The original price of the coffee maker might cost around USD$400, but we only rented it at around USD$0.25 per month. I think it’s quite a good deal. The requirement is just that we need to buy a box of coffee capsules every month, which just costs around USD$4.50. It might be slightly more expensive than the usual 3 in 1 instant coffee packets that my husband used to buy, but the coffee is definitely better taste and healthier with the coffee maker. I think it’s quite worth it to spend around USD$4.50 a month to enjoy a cup of good coffee.
My husband drinks the coffee without adding sugar and creamer, but I personally do not like it as it’s too bitter for me. Hence I can’t really tell whether the coffee really tastes good. Perhaps I should make myself a cup of coffee some days later.

USD$4.50 for how many capsules?
I prefer own brew coffee nowadays.
I just participated in a cafe week with Yelp where we visited several coffee places within a week. It was quite fun, as well as sleepless due to the caffeine intake
I hear for the first time that we can rent a coffee machine. I love coffee.
I drink coffee just cooked classically on the stove … a real Turkish coffee
I had no idea people could rent anything like that.
ooh waoo nice great post…
How many capsules are there in a box?
$0.25 sounds like a great deal, here the cheapest capsules tend to cost €0.25 ($0.28) each. The coffee you get from a machine looks pretty (there’s usually some cream at the top), taste mostly depends on the capsules you use, but I think it’s stronger than instant. Well, I’m from Italy, we have moka and espresso to compare with. ?

A box usually contains 16 capsules and it costs about that price.
It’s a luxury item compared to instant or moka, for sure. ?
