This butterfly really had some striking colors. I wish that I could have gotten a little closer. Nonetheless, I was able to get a few pictures as it flitted about. While it had been a very dry June, we finally got some rain over the past few days. Today, the sun has returned. Tomorrow, I’ll have to mow the lawn before it gets out of hand. Have a great week!

These are my favorite, they re swallowtails. There are also black ones that are stunning. It take a lot of patience to photograph butterflies and you did a great job.

Really crazy about Machaon butterаflies, unfortunately, they are not often found in my home country, watched them only 2 times. Your photos of them are marvellous!!!
