Sleep is essential to life – at least that is what the experts say. When sleep won’t come it may mean an early death. Many of us can relate to tossing and turning and not getting the required 7 to 8 hours sleep a night. I know many who boast that they can survive on 4 hours sleep a night. I definitely cannot survive on little sleep and I feel sluggish and tired all day if I don’t get a good night’s sleep.
Studies have shown that not enough sleep can result in health risks that include cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes and can severely impair the proper functioning of your immune system. More recently a study showed that those who stay up late and get up early are at a higher risk for premature death. Do you get enough sleep and what is enough?

I’m a night bird so that I have only about 7 hours of sleep.
Me too but you get a lot more sleep than I do.
I usually sleep about 8 o’clock.
I am a night owl and even though it is not good for me, I see sleep as a necessary evil. Rarely do I get more than 8 hours sleep a night but I am trying to change that.
Sleep is a necessity for all of us.
I am trying but I like to stay up late. If I don’t get enough sleep I usually feel the effects next day.
Yes the night before always dictates the kind of day we have. Good luck in finding a way to get more sleep.
I usually sleep about 8 o’clock. From 23 PM to 7 o’clock in the morning. But sometimes I stay in bed to get out, but then I’m awake.
If I am in bed by 10Pm I am ill or something. Just can’t get to bed before 12:30 but I do wake up (sometimes) about 9AM
