If you thought that the Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca is a must only in the peak of the summer season, let me prove you wrong! It is located in the western Mediterranean, therefore it has a lot of warm and sunny days, not only in the summer but during the whole year.
Its capital, Palma, is the most visited place on the island of Mallorca as it has a little something for everyone. Santa Maria Cathedral is one of the most popular spots because of its unique gothic style, the view on the sea, the location and the history.
The access to this Balearic island is very easy and simple either with an airplane as it has a lot of flights from all over Europe, or with a boat as Palma is an important port city.
You can visit Palma with a partner or a group of friends and enjoy the activities that this island offers either way. You can go for a walk by the sea and just enjoy the calmness, or go cycling on the bay and admire the views, or even do a mountain trip to feed your eyes with the amazing landscapes. Gourmands can enjoy some tapas tour and complete it with local wine or even Pacharán which is a typical Spanish licour beverage. There are great night clubs and bars for the party animals too. The Spaniards really enjoy their fiestas so you can not help but join them!
