There’s something special about black-and-white photos. By removing the color, our eyes are freed to appreciate different aesthetics within the image, and, when done well, this can turn an everyday scene into something quite arresting. Let’s share our best b&w shots here and offer each other encouragement with upvoting and constructive comments. Feel free to post sepia or other monochrome effects, as well as color splash (where all but a single color is removed from the image).
