Every year there is the debate of which is the best song. There’s the top 100 list, then there are lists for different genres. Everyone has their own personal favorites, and these are mine. I will leave the list open for your voting and for you to add your submissions.
My list is not going to just be one genre (say Country music), it will include a few different ones. Since they are my personal favorites, you may not agree with my choices at all so feel free to submit your own favorite.

#1 Brett Young – In Case You Didn’t Know
My next song choice is In Case You Didn't Know by Brett Young. He's a pretty new artist. I have only heard two of his songs. This one is a beautiful country ballad. Definitely a great song to come out this year.
#2 Twenty One Pilots: Heathens
Yes, this may be a peculiar choice, but I still like the song. To me they are still a pretty new music group, but they've been on the scene longer than I have known. I know this song and their Blurry Face song.
#3 Ed Sheeran – Shape of You
This is not necessarily my number one choice, but it is one of my favorites of the year so far. Ed Sheeran has a lot of great songs, and this is one of them. It has a great beat to it, and a very catching tune.
#4 Sam Hunt – Body Like A Back Road
My next choice is Body Like A Back Road by Sam Hunt. I understand a lot of people don't like Sam Hunt because they don't think he's Country. I like his music whether he is considered Country or Pop. The genre of music does not matter to me, it's whether or not the music is good.
#5 Heavy (Official Video) – Linkin Park (feat. Kiiara)
I have been a fan of Linkin Park since they started out. I chose this song for this list because it's so different than all of their other music. It's more "pop" than their other rock music. Do you like that they came out with a song in a completely different style? When I first heard the song on the radio, I didn't even know it was Linkin Park.
#6 Luke Combs – Hurricane
This song is from another new singer. His name is Luke Combs. I like the fact that the song is pretty catchy. Those types of songs seem to be the best to become a hit. Don't you agree?
