Never get tired of talking about my Japanese Honeysuckle blooms. They start out as solid pink.
Then they gradually turn pink and yellow. The hummingbirds and butterflies love the sweet nectar.
I enjoy the beauty and the fragrance that takes me back to the good times growing up.
We often would pick wildflowers for my Mom. The honeysuckle was always included in her special bouquet.

I very rarely see honeysuckle in this color.Stunning capture
I thought this color was different as well. Thank you.
The Maori kids next door taught me to eat the honeysuckle and other flowers from the garden. Never hurt us.
Good memories for you as well Pam.
There is much to be said for evaluating the situation before weighing in. My grandfather used to always say “is that the hill you want to die on.”
it always ended the argument because I was laughing!
Always enjoy hearing the advice you were given.
well i didn’t always enjoy it at the time. Now, i am happy i got it!
I understand, you know I do.
I do, you ‘ve had a few tough lessons
I know what you mean I look forward to mine blooming each year
Good to see you and thanks. Take care.
Such a beautiful flower! It always reminds me of you because I learnt its name thanks to a post of yours.
Thanks as always my friend for your kind words. Have a good day.
Thank you, I hope you are having a great day too!
Lovely flower and I always love that scent. She is so right is we have to learn to roll with the punches it would be great if people punched softer.
Thanks and so good to see you. Very true about the punches.
That is true. I hope people learn to punch softer. Is that such a thing?
I hope so too and I think it is a thing. 🙂
