I said I was digging deep and I can’t sleep this morning so it seems like a great time to get started on this project. It’s 2:04 am and so my day begins.
I started by going to the latest and this is what I found. (Oh, I forgot to mention that someone requested that I not interact, I don’t list those posts here because I believe in respecting the decisions of others.)
When I got there I found this 20 Views 2 Comments 5 Votes.
The first thing I did was leave the comment on the post in general. Then I commented on the two comments that were there. Then I shared the post on 2 different social media sites. When I was done reading and commenting there were

Partly because another commented and because I dug deep and responded to all the comments. Now moving on to the next one!

When I left there were there were 20 Views6 Votes and 8 comments

When I got there I found no views, no votes, and no comments. I shared the post on two social media sites. When I left there were 2 Votes2views. This was curious because she had posted different pictures so to me it didn’t tally the comments that were made on specific pictures. I found that odd and interesting.
I am going to continue the experiment on digging deep throughout the day, but I think this will be the first and last report on it unless someone asks for details.

Oh I didn’t track them that long. I find that flipboard gets quite a bit of traffic for me. (Can’t remember if the name has changed on that one.) Sometimes I wonder if people ever even notice that others share their work.
this is really close to what I do!!! i also vary the Facebook vs Twitter share. Some posts I share both but I mark those posts.
I also leave posts open and track them at times for 30 or 60 minutes.
The numbers show the value of commenting and sharing.

That is not something I have tried and perhaps I should. Although often times I am writing and reading when no one else is here.
i do that during the week (when most are not on). i usually log on late in the day as well just to clear up comments and then shut down for the day!
