There is a very famous portuguese wine that I believe you have already heard or even drank, it is Porto wine.
Port Wine is a natural and fortified wine, produced exclusively from grapes from the Douro Demarcated Region of Northern Portugal. What makes Port wine different from other wines, apart from the unique climate, is that the fermentation of the wine is not complete, being stopped at an early stage (two or three days after the start), by adding a brandy . Thus Port wine is a naturally sweet wine (since the natural sugar in grapes does not completely turn into alcohol) and stronger than other wines.
There are three types of Port wines: White, Ruby and Tawny. My favorite is Ruby, the one in the photo and it is always present in our Christmas table.

I have no real drink for any holiday.
The Porto wine is very famous, I have always heard wonderful opinions about it, but I have never drunk it
I am not sure Porto Wine is the same as Port Wine . I don’t drink a lot of wine, I like a little but often don’t drink because of 2 people’s anti social behaviour due to alcohol
However, on occasion I drink a small glass.
As a child I recall Dad buying the family, “Plonk”, once a year from Corbans wine in Henderson West Auckland. He bought Cellarman’s Port, Sherry, and various others. Lasted for a year.
This Porto wine may explain why Jose Mourinho is the special one.
You are lucky your post has stayed (lol) Mine was deleted when I wrote a post on wine
I like port wine which we used to get from Goa
it is a bit too sweet for my taste
Have not tried this wine before Dawn.
