This is a moth that was a regular visitor to my apartment. Somehow he liked to climb on my kitchen curtain and had to be rudely shown his way out. I think it is called the monk moth. I have not seen any moths here in our new home. Here there are various kinds of critters. I have seen snakes ( rat snakes and cobras) Garden Lizards, centipedes and multipedes.
Honestly I prefer moths to any of these creatures seen here. Thankfully we don’t see them too often. I really miss the variety of birds we used to see in the apartment. We also have feral cats here but they keep away from our home because of the dogs. I am not a great fan of feral cats either. They are thieves and get into my neighbors kitchen at times. They hang around and beg for fish whenever I cook fish.

I do not look out for critters in my garden and the only time I would do is to get rid of them
great capture of the moth! I am a huge fan of spiders (I don’t let the rest of the house kill them) but not many other bugs on my like list! (and spiders aren’t bugs).
I am visited by flies and wasps, dear friend … maybe ever even some moth just cobra but thank god we don’t have
I am also occasionally visited by a moth.
No, I have not any at my home, but I see them in the garden in the summertime.
I am a bit scared of moths, but they are harmless, I guess.
I have a lot of these moths ad butterflies in the summer garden. Not in the house or during the winter.
