Some years back, there was a tv commercial of a pineapple brand that says there is phytochemical in pineapples. I have no idea of what that thing is but for sure people believed and the sales of that canned pineapple increased.
Generally, any fruit is beneficial to our health except for diabetics who are not allowed to indulge much because of the sugar content. Pineapples have sugar so the intake should be limited for diabetics. But for normal people like me, eating 2 slices of pineapple provides the fiber that makes me feel full so it helps in not gaining weight.

Pineapple is among my favorite fruits. I eat it daily in smaller quantities.
I like it fairly well but don’t eat it often.
I have no problems with sugar in my blood so I ate many fruits. I love pineapples.
Fruit actually has good sugar, diabetics can eat fruit. It is a complex sugar that diabetics have to avoid.
