Skardu is a beautiful city in the northern part of Pakistan. It is the second-largest city in the Northern Territory after Gilgit. Skardu is called a tourist’s paradise because of its natural beauty. The high mountains, beautiful lakes, and gardens are rich in natural beauty all around the city. The largest river in Pakistan called Indus river emerges from the snow-capped mountains behind the Skardu. There are many almonds, walnuts and apricot orchards that produce large quantities of fruit. The winters in this area are extremely cold and the temperature drops to minus 6C, but the summer season is very pleasant and tourists from far away visit this city.
