Wonderful tree. Is there any way trees can be saved from all the amputations for tradition? Earlier the wood would be used for cooking.. but now it must be discarded.

Before I got married, at our family’s house a Christmas tree was usually installed a week before Christmas, but not anymore because my mother lives alone. All of her children live in their respective homes.
