Chicago, Illinois (Edgewater neighborhood)
Nikon Coolpix P7700
The photo was taken in my backyard. I was killing some time while waiting for the repairman to replace the sensor in our garage door so I decided to take some photos. The figurine has been in the garden for a couple of years now. I thought it went well with the turning leaves.
Editing was done with On1 Photo RAW 2020.

This is a Great think.
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
It is a great piece. I would love to have it in my area!
Thanks. I don’t know where it came from but I would think that any large garden shop would have something like it. Maybe even Amazon. Com.
That is a beautiful artifact. I have an angel installed on the birdbath where birds sit and mess it up (lol)
We used have a birdbath in the backyard but, between keeping it clean and not letting it become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, it wasn’t worth it.
Fantastic photo which could become a cross stitch picture as well. That figurine is so cute with all the multicolored leaves and plants surrounding her. You are lucky to have a gardener in your condo area…

Oops. This was supposed to be for Grace. Sorry.
Thanks, HistoryGal. I don’t know if they still have them or not but, when my wife was into cross stitch, there were programs that would convert a photo into a pattern and even calculate the DMC numbers.
Yes I know but the ones that I saw were kind of expensive… Anyway I enjoy doing cross stitch with kits found in stores or online…
Aah. We haven’t looked at them lately. My wife has a hard time with any complicated cross stitch due to the small detail involved.
That is an adorable statue and really blends in with the surroundings
Thank you. I’m glad you liked it.
Looks beautiful Gary. A nice garden.
One of the condo owners is a professional. She used to work as a gardener for the Chicago Park District.
