This was taken from Cockle Bay, Howick last Sunday and in the centre here is the faint outline of “Little Barrier” in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf. It is a nature sanctuary and you are not allowed to visit this without the permission from D.O.C that is an authority on New Zealand natural sanctuaries that protect places from unnatural predators.
It was a fine day last Sunday and this is some distance away.
What does the Little Barrier hold?
It holds some precious endangered native New Zealand birds that are not safe in most of New Zealand.
Love the view, and the view in the distance.
