Wish (App Review)

Wish is an app where you can buy a lot of different things for pretty cheap.  Is it worth it?  We’ll explore that in this review.

First of all, there are a lot of different categories of things you can buy.  You can buy jewelry, clothes, accessories, makeup, gadgets, kitchen items, kids and babies items, and more.

Next there is price. There is a lot of stuff that you would normally pay high prices for which you can get for only a few bucks. Some things you can get for free and just pay a few dollars in shipping (in those cases I think they up the shipping so it’s technically not free). Some things you can still pay a pretty penny on, but they generally are bigger items.

Then there is shipping speed. Most things are shipped from China so they can take a month or more to arrive.  A few items I have received in only 2 weeks, while others took 2 months or more. At least 1 item I ordered never arrived.

The customer service is really good at Wish. When I didn’t receive my item they refunded my money quickly. A few items I ordered were wrong or didn’t work and they refunded my money quickly then as well. I didn’t have to return the products either to get the refund.

So is Wish worth ordering from? 

Generally I say yes. I would not order certain things (like electronics or certain makeup products).  Otherwise a lot of the items seem well made. If you don’t like the long wait for the items to arrive I would go elsewhere. I still order from wish even though I have had some bad experiences in the past. The fact that customer service refunded my money and did it in a quick manner really helped.
