  1. I have been writing lectures for an educational magazine for grades K through 12. I will try to create quizzes here when I can. Glad you all like the quizzes and the word play poems.

As a French Canadian I am disappointed that I missed one, although the verb “comprendre” also means to understand, that you have knowledge of, to include, see the light etc., so I just assumed that it also meant “to know”. Guess I was wrong. BTW, nice quiz and nice to know you understand French.

    • There are a lot of French words that resemble English words. For example, comprendre meaning to understand and in a way the word comprehend.
