      • That would not surprise me. Wildlife documentaries make it quite clear that individuals can be told apart in many large animal species – and not just by fellow members of that species. So identifying zebras – although tricky – does not sound impossible.

    • They used to think that they were black stripes on white because their bellies were white but embryological studies show that they are really white stripes on black. You were right.
