Winner or loser…

A winning spirit, or rather a winning attitude, is the ability to focus on long-term goals, even when the results are not what we want. A lot of people forget about long-term goals when they experience a standstill or problems in achieving short-term goals. They begin to despair of the current stalemate and failure, forgetting that the whole process is and that success does not come with the right line. Constraints and short-term returns are also expected to be an indispensable part of every learning and promotion process. “Winners” do not give up when there are obstacles, but they see them as challenges to be overcome. They have faith in their own abilities and tend to try before they say “I can not.” They believe that if they are disciplined, the result is sure to come and they are very motivated and persistent. Instead of fearing other people’s opinions, they tend to satisfy high internal standards and be satisfied with themselves. Some authors believe that having a winning spirit means: know what we want, set high goals, love what we do, work with persistence and goal, as well as traps and rise immediately.

When one winner makes a mistake, he says: “I made a mistake” and learned a lesson. When one loser makes a mistake, he says: “It was not my fault” and accuses others. The winner knows that challenges are the best teacher. The loser feels the victim against the challenges. The winner knows that the results mostly depend on him alone. The loser believes there is a bad luck.

The winner feels responsible not only for himself and for his job. The loser is not responsible and always says: “I’m doing my job and that’s enough”.

  1. This is a motivational writing. Our focus of attention determines our attitudes and behavior. If we pay attention to our pain and failure we will stop but if we focus on learning then we will always rise and move with vigor.

  2. A lot is placed on appearances, when winning is something more than just scoring a point.
To live right is to win, but there will be some failures on the way.
