When the boat almost toppled

We were on a package holiday to Kashmir and the surrounding States.  We were taken to Jabalpur a State in Madhya Pradesh. There was this boat ride in the Narmada Rivere with white soft rocks as its backdrop

The boatman was giving us a running commentary about the river and its surroundings. The boat was packed to capacity and the boatman warned us not to get up as the boat would miss its balance and just as this advice was being dished out to us one lady without paying heed to the advice got up to change her place and yes we did experience a bit of turmoil.  Her husband was quite upset when she did that and her excuse was that the sun was right on her and she wanted to avoid it 

Providence no doubt came to our rescue and we were saved.  When the boatman told us that the river was infested with Crocodiles that was enough for me to just get off the boat. 

I never enjoyed the ride.
