We did not know our cashew tree was dying untl we witnessed the dropping of leaves. I would say it looked like it was raining lealves.
We could hear the sound of leaves dropping The leaves covered a vast area and the raining continue for well over an hour until the tree was bare
The birds were confused and they all started chirping.

That looks very sad, didn’t you notice any signs before it died? You could have probably saved it.
If it was visible we would have taken care of it.
I have great memories associated with dead tree and leaves
They become part of our life and so it is natural that we miss them.

The birds joined in too. Their chirps were different.
Ouch, what a poor tree. Our cashew tree is right now being infested by termites so I had to clean it every day otherwise it will also die like your tree.
That is exactly what happened and sadly we did not notice it in time.
