This privacy violation change is part of a treaty in the United States around social media platforms. The treaty enables forcing companies which include Whatsapp and Facebook, to share encrypted user’s messages with UK police officers for the first time, Bloomberg reported. A special accord has been designed to compel social media companies to share information that is related to ongoing investigations, is to be signed next month.
