Well, this is from an online recipe for prawns … but then after tasting it, we realised that it’s as good as a bread spread! So we started making these and storing them in the fridge as bread spread!
The recipe is simple, garlic, parsley, some salt, black pepper and lemon juice. Oh and the most important one – butter!
Quick Tips:
1. The ratio of parsley to garlic depends on your liking. I prefers more garlic.
2. Do not spread too much or it’ll be pungent and spicy due to the garlic. A thin layer will do.
3. HAVE to be toasted! You can also sprinkle some sugar onto of spread before baking!

alibb, I am of the opinion that there is no such thing as too much garlic. In fact, one of my favorite foods is a whole garlic smothered in butter and baked to soft golden goodness.
Ahh… then that’s good! You can spread a good amount and still enjoy it!! 🙂
