I just sat down this morning sipping my coffee , hoping to write something on a site I haven’t written in months. My thoughts went from the subject which is wishful thinking to a time in life which became a turning point for me.
I was thinking about a beautiful morning when we went hiking up a hill. It was an exhausting climb , but it was worth the effort. We sat down to drink water and in a minute we were covered in the clouds. The smell of that rarefied air is still in my nostrils. The experience so so pure, so beautiful and it has imprinted pictures in my mind.
Looking at the beauty below as the sun shone on the land and the tiny towns seemed like I no longer belonged to the earth. I just left like I had found the meaning of the word objectivity right there. I took my camera and sauntered away from the rest of my family, just to give myself space to think. Immediately my thoughts went to the basic questions of life, what is life, what is the purpose of life? and such. the 45 minutes I spent alone was like a spiritual, illuminating moment for me. It kind of became a turning point in my life. My very perspective of life changed in less than an hour.
I came down as a different person. Priorities in life changed suddenly.

when we look within we find things we have missed along the way.
When we look within we often find the ourselves we have nit noticed.
sometimes we drive by ourselves so fast we cannot see who we are
I always look back to learn from my mistakes. To relax I have a favorite place on the rocks by the sea.
I do that everyday, try to learn from my mistakes.
I always think about life since more than 90% of time I’m usually alone. If I stop thinking about life and its mysteries, I feel as if I’ve stopped existing.
Hmm that is a different way to look at it.
The majesty of nature often has such effect on us. Wonderful and thought-provoking post!
You said it so well. Thank you Ellie.
Many times I have had turning points in life. I have changed directions often.
Hmm .. I guess we need some of those changes.
