While I do reminisce sitting in my favourite corner about the several tours I have undertaken, soaking in those happy times, moments of disappointments also surface.
– Why did I never get to have snow all over me despite being in countries that has snow?
-Where were those tulips I so wanted to see in Amsterdam?
-Why should there have been clouds that made us cancel our flight that would have taken us close to the Himalayas in Nepal?
-Our Tiger Hill trip in Darjeeling was disappointing too. Despite getting up at 3 am to get there on time to see the first ray of the sun hitting the Himalayas the clouds did not allow that
– I so wanted to meet my ex boss and his family who have settled down in Switzerland but they had to leave for the UK unexpectedly.
-The gliding experience in Jung Frau Switzerland that I did not participate in for reasons unknown. You can see that in the thumbnail image.
-Missed watching an opera in Sydney which I so wanted!!
-Could not connect to my niece in Australia as the phone let me down.
There are more.

Did you have travel disappointments too?
-
Yes

No

That’s the hazard of traveling when you fail to meet the expectation.
Sadly when has to be ready for such disappointments.
We must be lucky in our travels. I too have experienced disappointments.
The one I was most disappointed was when we reached late for the Tulips season
Yes twice in a life ……….
Do you travel a lot too?
