My eldest son’s 11th birthday is coming soon. I still don’t know what to give to him as birthday present.
I have been giving him some dolls or toys I made since I learned how to knit, sew and crochet when he was young. I don’t feel like buying any toys, so I think it’s good to make it myself. This also motivated me to learn and practice my handwork skills.
He is going to be eleven years old soon, and he doesn’t seem to be interested in these little toys anymore. Even last year, I couldn’t think of anything to make for him, but at last I quickly crocheted these two “unicorns” – doughnut and macaron. Glad that he still likes them and plays with them sometimes. I should think of something more useful and practical for him now.

These are so adorable!
Time is low here and donuts are the traditional food for these crazy days … I love them very much and have bought quite a few
I don’t know how much money you intend to spend but there is a great educational company called Littlebits that let’s the learner explore the reality of technology.

I do. I have a sweet tooth 🙂
Since your boy is eleven may be you could give some mechanical gadgets?
