Some people call it magic berry and others say it is miracle fruit. The fruit has no flesh, it is like seed and skin only. But if you eat the skin, the taste buds will be numbed that anything you eat would taste sweet. The opinion of experts is that the taste buds go numb for 3 to 4 hours. Within the period, anything you eat or drink will be sweet.
The magic berry can be used by diabetics since they can drink coffee without sugar and yet the coffee will taste sweet. Even with any other food like lemon, it would taste sweet. For all we know, the magic berry can be a panacea for diabetics. Let’s hope for that.
