My sister try to get some berries (usually straw or blue berries) like twice a month so that we get extra boost in antioxidant and well they say berries can improve memory ans such (hearsay). We aren’t those very health conscience people but we try to at least do things that we heard and believe is good for us.
However, sometimes we kept the berries too long and they turn mouldy. I went online and found a “trick” to make them last slightly longer … (or at least become cleaner)..
That is to soak them for a while in vinegar mix water. (say 1 Vinegar : 10 water ratio). A while depends on how patience you’re but a few minutes will do. After that dry them completely and then put them back into package and fridge them!
