This an example of some of the most beautiful karst mountains in the world and is found along the Li River in China.
The term, Karst mountains are used to refer to mountains made of limestone, dolomite and gypsum, all soluble rocks that can be easily broken down by acids that break down the limestone and create sinkholes and caverns.
Been there in 2019. Absolutely, one of the most beautiful places I had been to. They have this karst landscapes everywhere. In rivers. In paddy fields. Along the highway. Around shopping malls. It is like when the Universe gave away karst, Yangshou took the majority of it 😂
