There is just something special about sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. This photograph was taken by me in 2010 from Signal-hill, Capetown at 8:50 pm. in the summer. A little further up the hill is a magnificent view-site overlooking Capetown harbor, and the wide expanse f the Atlantic ocean down below with Robben-island 8 miles out to sea. Seeing its evening lights starting to faintly, flicker-on, it’s difficult to imagine someone swimming that incredible 8 miles to the rocky-shores of Clifton beach or Bantry-bay, yet there have been several successful attempts made.

I have heard about Tabletop Mountain and if I remember correctly included it in one of my quizzes. I would love to travel to Capetown but it is too long a journey and too expensive to get there
No I have never been there. I do love the rising and setting of the sun.
A weird phenomenon about Capetown, almost like an island, has the sun rising and setting over the sea.
Never been but would love to one day.
