Tangiers, Morocco
Pentax MX camera with a Vivitar 135/2.8 lens
Fujichrome 100 color transparency film, No exposure recorded
The snake charmer would pick the tourist out of the group whom he thought least likely to want to have live snakes draped over their shoulders. Of course the rest of the crowd, including her husband, egged her on.
Editing was done using Luminar Flex. I started with the Develop filter and used it to adjust the color temperature, increase the shadows and clarity and decrease the highlights and whites. Next I added the Accent AI filter and used the Saturation / Vibrance filter to increase the vibrance. Lastly I used the Tone filter to increase the SmartTone. Lastly I used the Erase tool to get rid of a dust spot.

I would have to pass on this one Gary!
I think most people probably would although, in my experience, women tend to be less afraid of snakes than men.
Great , the lady seems very brave
One would like to think that the snake was either non-venomous or had been de-fanged!
You’d think so but often the snakes are venomous and have fangs. I don’t know what species these are. Snakes can, depending on the species, get used to being handled and he never let the snake’s head get anywhere near her.
She was truly brave to do it and defeat her fear of snakes!
It was more pressure from the others than bravery on her part. She wasn’t happy about it.
In that case she should have said “no”, I don’t think anyone could have forced her to do it.
Peer pressure is very powerful.
very interesting post thanks for sharing
You’re welcome. I’m glad you liked it.
