We stopped by the neighbors to drop off some meat. We had butchered and knew they could probably use a little extra. They invite us in for some smoky lemonade. I had no idea what they were talking about, but I will try anything once, except raisins.
They cut the lemons in half and tossed them on the grill. As soon as the lemon turned light brown she squeezed the grilled lemon juices over ice and added a little honey.
It was interesting. I couldn’t say if it was good or bad. It is something that I will try at home again and see what I think the second time around. My husband loved it.
