Carla is a small dog I found on the street last summer. She lives in the house with my cats so it’s no wander she has an identity crisis. Carla is convinced that she is a cat, too. My cats are completely indifferent to newcomers, so nobody bothered her. Besides, there were four small kittens, when she arrived, so Carla had both company and toys. Now, her “toys” grew up and it’s only a matter of time when they will get bigger than her. Until that time, Carla enjoys in life with them. One of the best things in life is napping. With cats. All day long. Repeatedly. That’s how this photo was taken. I came in to the room and couldn’t find a dog. I looked everywhere except in a pile of cats, sleeping on an electric heater. And then I spotted a strange looking “cat” and start laughing. Carla gave me a look that said: “Shhhhhh, human, I am a kitten. Don’t disturb kittens while sleeping.”
