It is a well-known fact that hands are the most unhygienic and yet we do not hesitate to shake hands. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reported to have suggested to his citizens that they should do what Indians do – greet with a Namaste as is seen in the image. And this in the context of the Corona Virus that spreads in contact with those who are infected which sometimes is not known.
This practice should be adopted, in my opinion, at all times as one never knows what those hands have been up to before shaking hands. ?

This is true, we always shake hands and we give to kisses. We must be very careful.

It is not advisable in the current coronavirus outbreak to shake hands.
Not just now but that habit is not healthy even otherwise
In Africa, it will be difficult for shaking of hands to stop entirely.
