Before you go to 7/11 to grab a free Slurpee, you can watch a triple header in the Serie A. All three matches will be on ESPN+. Here is a look at the schedule.
Sassuolo at Lazio – 11:15 PM EST.
Roma at Brescia – 1:30 PM EST.
Atalanta at Juventus – 3:45 PM EST.
Don’t look now, but Sassuolo has jumped all the way up to 8th place since the restart in Italy. Sassuolo has won three in a row with their offense scoring nine goals in those matches. Lazio is still in second place, but they have lost two games in a row.
Brescia needs to win now with seven games left. Brescia is mired in the relegation zone; they need eight points in order to escape. Roma can keep a hold on fifth place with a win.
The marquee match-up of the day is 3rd place Atalanta going on the road to 1st place Juventus. An Atalanta win and a Lazio loss/tie would move Atalanta to 2nd place. A Juventus win would move them closer to their 9th straight Serie A regular season title.

Juventus can play Real Madrid in the Champions League. it will be a great match.
That is possible because Lyon cannot defeat Juventus now. Real Madrid is down one to Manchester City, so City still has a chance. We will see if Manchester City will be banned from European football tomorrow.
Yes, please ban City!!!! I do not like teams owned by millionaires from dictatorships. But I do not know if Real Madrid will defeat Manchester City in England anyway. Real Zaragoza lost yesterday. They have lost 5 matches in a row at home. They only needed a draw. This is horrible. My province needs Zaragoza in the First Division again.
Juventus and Atalanta surprisingly parked the bus for a 2-2 draw.
Roma ended up winning 3-0 at Brescia. Brescia will be relegated
Correction: 7/11 did not do the free slurpee today due to the pandemic.
Roma and Brescia are tied at nil at halftime. Brescia is attempting to park the bus.
Sassuolo completes the comeback and wins 2-1 over Lazio. Woo-hoo!
Lazio is up 1-0 at home against Sassuolo

love the addition of the part the bus!
You are welcome and thank you for the suggestion to add it to the polls. I do not like ties, but I do like the term “Park the bus!” whenever they say that about boring teams settling for a draw instead of going for the win.
its a fun addition – made me smile today!
