Today I was standing out in the back yard watching the elk. I was intent and really enjoying it. My brother was in the yard and not in my line of sight at all. Later he brought down a picture. And there behind me, about 6 feet was a deer watching me watch the elk. I was so intent I didn’t even realize the deer was there.

A good one Ghostwriter. The day we can savor every moment is when we have found true happiness.
I know if I had a deer look at me looking at an elk I would be saying something in Spanish “Hello deer, you like my satire writings?”
Very nice, if I had only known the deer was there!
That is so true since you and I never know who is watching us.
There are times that things mesmerize me so much that I just get drawn to the scene and everything else all around me just blanks out.
Your second question is a bit tricky, given that some people might be aware of the potential double negative and others not!
