Responsibilities of a pet owner

I am happy to know that there is a campaign for the pet owners to be responsible. There useD to be many cases of animal abuse committed by their owners. Take for instance the stray dogs in the street. Accidents can happen that some dogs are killed by the oncoming vehicles on a rush. Of course, those stray dogs make a mess of the roads not to mention the diseases that they spread.

There is a neighbor whose dog is tied up to the front gate to guard the home. What if it rains or if the sun is hot? It doesn’t matter because the dog couldn’t talk anyway. Some dogs go hungry for a day or two when the owner is not at home. There are so many acts of negligence and abuses on the pets that are now considered illegal I am hoping that the law will be fully implemented.
