Photos Chain Challenge – Ialomita river

Ialomita is a river in Romania that springs from the Southern Carpathians. It collects its waters from the glacial circuses located on the southern slope of the Bucegi massif, around an altitude of 2390 m. On its way to the Danube, Ialomita passes south of Targoviste, not far from Chindia Park. Many times, before the lockdown, Maya and I used to walk through the Ialomita valley. Although it is close to the city, the area is somewhat wild, without too many arrangements.

Historians and esoterists consider Ialomita one of the most sacred rivers in the country. All this because there are legends that say it was the favorite river of the great god Zamolxe.
