I took this photo a long time ago when I noticed a bird singing in the rain.
It was almost as if this bird or Greenfinch was trying to prove a point and was emphatic that he was right!
Well, if a bird can sing when it is raining so can I..Mind you if we had a good lot of rain, I may find myself dancing. Over 3 months and hardly any rain.
Here is one determined Greenfinch. Good on him.

Thanks Elenka, on this day this bird sang very loudly and he looked angry, but he sang anyway. I had to take the photo.

Wonderful photo! Greenfinches are not bothered easily by the weather. I hope you gwt the much needed rain soon!
Dancing in the rain is one of my favorite things to do. I have written a few articles/poems on dancing in the rain.
This picture is just wonderful. You were either lucky to snap it or you are an excellent photographer. I think a little of both applies. That little bird seems very happy to be singing in the rain and gives his best performance….
