As a teenager I used to collect stamps and had several albums but at that time it was just collecting as the school gave us marks and that’s it Never knew there was a value attached to them.
Much water has flown down the bridge and now I know more about philately. Was curious to find out the most expensive postage stamp as of now and you see that in the image
The British Guiana 1c magenta postage stamp is regarded by many philatelists as the world’s most famous rare stamp.It was issued in British Guiana – not many were released.
The market value was around US$9,480,000 sold in 2014.
Some collectors have this craze just to own rare stamps.

My husband and son are crazy about stamps. I help them sometimes with their albums.

I really do not know what happened to mine.
Over the years, things get stuck or lost, dear Grace
It is sad that stamps are going obsolete and I am wondering about the collectors.
Perhaps they will have greater value now as collectors have that craze.
